Poshmark seller fees in 2026, explained
Poshmark keeps its fee structure refreshingly simple — a single selling fee with no separate listing or payment-processing charge:
| Sale price | Seller fee | You keep |
|---|---|---|
| Under $15 | $2.95 flat | Sale price − $2.95 |
| $15 and above | 20% | 80% of the sale price |
The fee applies to the item's sale price only. Shipping is a flat rate paid by the buyer on a Poshmark label, so it never touches your fee or your payout. That 20% is all-in: it covers payment processing, the shipping label, and buyer/seller protection.
One quirk worth knowing: the flat $2.95 under $15 means the effective fee rate is highest on the cheapest items. A $5 sale loses 59% to the flat fee; a $14.99 sale loses about 20%; at exactly $15 the 20% rate takes over. Bundling small items to clear $15+ can actually change which side of that line you land on.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Poshmark take per sale?
$2.95 flat on sales under $15, or 20% on sales of $15 and up. On a $50 sale you pay $10 and keep $40. There's no separate processing fee.
Does Poshmark charge a fee on shipping?
No — the fee is on the item's sale price only. The buyer pays shipping on a Poshmark-provided label.
How much should I list for to take home $X?
Flip the calculator to reverse mode and enter your target take-home. For any sale of $15+, list at your target ÷ 0.80 — so to keep $100 you'd list at $125.
Is the 20% fee worth it?
It's higher than eBay or Mercari, but it bundles processing, prepaid labels and protection, and Poshmark's social feed drives discovery. On sub-$15 items the flat $2.95 is a bargain by comparison.
